My name is Domonique Matthews - that’s with two O’s and two T’s.
About Domonique
Domonique Matthews is native Memphian who is a strong, single mother of two boys ages 20 and 5. In 2013 she received her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice as well as working as a registered dental assistant. She is most known for her varied accomplishments as a life insurance broker. Matthews was a teen mom who was determined to fight against all stereotypes. She is a survivor of cervical cancer, and continues her daily fight with long-term lupus. As the youngest daughter of the highly controversal public figure, The Cussing Pastor Thaddeus Matthews, she has tried her best to hide her battles with stalkers, domestic violence, depression, father-issues, public humiliation of negative comments and suicidal thoughts.
She is now on a journey of speaking her truth and to continue to live by her motto, “God will never put more on you than you can bear.” Matthews is more conscious of how she allows people to treat her and she has learned to not ignore the red flags as she accepts people for who they are. She has mastered controlling her emotions and doing what only makes her happy. In her newest creation, “You Can't Make This Up," she gives you the raw and unfiltered version of the Life of the Cussing Pastor's Daughter.
